About the Great Staughton Horticultural Society

Established in 1965, the Horticultural Society is mainly involved with organizing horticultural events in the local community. This includes a plant sale in early spring, an annual show in late summer and a ‘garden talk’ in the autumn. In addition, there are trips out to gardens of interest and visits to member’s gardens.

Meetings are held at regular intervals in the Playing Fields Pavilion where the events are organized and members allocated to the various tasks. We are a non-profit making organization and any revenue from sales is used to plant bulbs & trees around the village. We have also provided and maintain the bench seat opposite the Church.

New members are always very welcome.
